Please take the time to read through the following carefully. By booking an appointment, you agree to these policies.
Age
You must be 18 or over to have a treatment at OKO Lashes.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding (Lash Extensions only)
Due to limited research on the effects of lash adhesive on pregnant or breastfeeding women, OKO Lashes recommends waiting up to 6 months after giving birth or breastfeeding before booking an appointment.
Booking and payment
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment.
If you have received a link or invoice to pay the deposit. The appointment slot will be held for 24 hours.
The remaining balance can be paid by cash, card, bank transfer, or invoice link on the day of your appointment.
Out of Hours
Appointments requested before 9:30 AM, after 6:00 PM Monday - Thursday or outside of the hours available on the booking site will incur a £10 out-of-hours fee. Contact Nadia to request these appointments.
Patch Testing
A patch test is required at least 48 hours before your first appointment, if you have had a 6-month break in appointments, or if your medical history has changed.
Patch tests from other lash artists are not accepted.
Guests
Guests, including children, pets, friends, and partners, are not allowed during appointments.
Rescheduling your appointment
You can reschedule your appointment up to 48 hours prior using your confirmation email.
For last-minute rescheduling (within 48 hours), contact Nadia as soon as possible. Your appointment slot will be posted on the waiting list if there's enough time.
If your slot is not filled, or you reschedule last-minute, you will lose your deposit and need to pay a new one to rebook..
Cancelling your appointment
You can cancel your appointment via the confirmation email or by notifying Nadia at least 48 hours prior.
Cancellations with at least 48 hours notice will automatically be credited to a coupon code* for future appointments. A refund may be requested.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will result in a lost deposit.
No-shows
If you miss your appointment without notification, your file will be marked as a "no show." To book future appointments, you must pay the balance of the missed appointment and a new deposit.
Illness
If you are unwell, please notify Nadia as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment without losing your deposit.
Cancellations due to illness with less than 24 hours notice will result in a lost deposit. To book future appointments, you must pay the balance of the missed appointment.
If you arrive unwell, you will be turned away and lose your deposit.
The same applies if you paid more than the deposit but notified Nadia before the 24-hour threshold; the amount will be credited as a coupon code*.
Lateness
Lash Lift: Being 15 minutes late with another appointment following yours will result in cancellation and lost deposit.
Lash Extensions: Arriving late will result in less lash application time. Extra time can be requested if available (costs £10 per 30 minutes).
Make-up
Please arrive at your appointment with clean, makeup-free lashes. Makeup removal may take up appointment time.
Lash Lift: If makeup removal is extensive and affects the next appointment, your appointment may be cancelled, and you will lose your deposit.
Lash Extensions: Thorough makeup removal may result in less fullness and potentially affect retention.
Infills for Lash Extensions
Infills are recommended between 2.5-4 weeks after your initial appointment.
Book a "mini" fill service for top-ups before 2.5 weeks.
Bookings over 4 weeks may result in a less full lash set due to natural lash shedding.
Infills from other lash artists are welcome. Choose "New client infill" for this service. Extra time may be needed for removal or a full set if your lash extensions are dirty, poorly applied, or sparse. Book a "Full Set" if unsure.
Nadia will apply as many lashes as possible within the appointment time.
Refunds
All services and products are non-refundable. However, a service guarantee is offered (see below).
Service guarantee
If you are not satisfied with a service, let Nadia know during your treatment or within 72 hours after your appointment. Nadia will try to make corrections within 72 hours of completing the treatment.
Friend Referral Policy
Refer a friend and get £5 off for both yourself and your friend for the next appointment. The code cannot be used in conjunction with another offer.
Right to refuse service
OKO Lashes has the right to refuse service to anyone who repeatedly disregards policies, behaves improperly, is intoxicated or if state of health may influence the effects of the service.
Coupon Code
The coupon code will be in the first name on which you booked under. E.g. If you booked under ‘Jane Doe’ and paid a 50% deposit of £25, your coupon code will be ‘JANE’ and the amount on the code will be £25.
